The Isle of Skye Half Marathon
This year's race will be on 9th June 2012
Last year’s 28th Isle of Skye Half Marathon proved to be a great success with over 340 entered in the Half Marathon and over 100 in the Fun Run. It was also another great year for Skye runners with Hugh Campbell defending his title this year after becoming the first ever Skye male to win the race last year. Hugh Campbell, running on behalf of local charity ‘Lucky 2 be here’, smashed last year’s time by almost a minute. Keith Hood (Cortstorphine) took challenged Hugh throughout the race and finished in 1.12.14.
